The coaching relationship begins with a personal interview of the parent(s)and then a personal interview of the child to be coached. These interviews are to gather information from the perspective of the parent(s) and that of the child. Although both the parent(s) and child may live in the same home- their perceptions of what areas the child can progress in the most positive way may not be in agreement.
All interview information is confidential and is reviewed to find a consistency profile of strengths that the child has mentioned and are noticed by others. These interviews set a beginning point.
Services that follow the interview process include and are not limited to:
-
Personal strength assessments
-
Area life goal assessments
-
Values and Interests assessments
-
Personal Action Plan
-
On-going Support and Guidance via phone and email
-
Celebrations of achieving goals and stepping stone successes
-
A personal portfolio describing strengths, goals, and success
